Flour Moon Bagels is Hiring an Assistant baker Near Orleans, LA
We're seeking a dedicated baker who's passionate about all things bagels. We want someone who's eager to learn, reliable, can work well in a fast paced environment, and most of all, a team player.
We are high volume and are looking for someone with knowledge and experience with yeast and sourdough breads. A minimum of 1-2 years working in a professional bakery is required.
Pay begins at $15 / hour (or more DOE) with an equal house tip share, pay ends up on average being between $22-25 an hour.
80 hours PTO per year for full time employees.
Responsibilities include :
- Making doughs and hand shaping bagels
- Supervising ovens
- Making cookie doughs and other simple dessert items
- Preparing and organizing catering and wholesale orders
- May also be responsible for other production items when needed
- Maintaining a clean and organized workplace
